Tamadaba Natural Park Circuit

The Tamadaba massif (1,444 m) in northwestern Gran Canaria holds the island’s largest and most ancient Canarian pine forest. This circuit explores its dramatic coastal edge — the cliffs fall almost 600 m sheer to the Atlantic — while threading through forest clearings carpeted in pink cistus. The viewpoint over the sea is one of the most remote and least visited on the island.

The road to Tamadaba is narrow and winding — take the road from Agaete. The trail is not always well-waymarked; download a GPS track before setting out. Camping is available in the park with advance reservation.
