How the Photography Visibility Score Works
Our proprietary scoring system analyzes real-time weather data, Calima density, and moisture levels to tell you exactly where the “cleanest” air is.
Discovery Tool: Use this map not just to check your favorites, but to discover new locations. If Teide is covered in cloud or dust, the map might reveal a high-visibility window in the Anaga mountains or the cliffs of Famara. Check back hourly as conditions in the mid-Atlantic shift rapidly.
The Score: A high score (8-10) means crisp horizons and vibrant colors—ideal for Milky Way shots or long-distance landscape photography. A low score indicates hazy conditions or heavy Calima.
